As the cold winter days painfully drag along, you can't help but notice that your feet, while covered with a pair of awesome socks, are taking a beating from the cold elements.
Colder temperatures can dry your skin out, while constantly wearing boots can cram your toes together, resulting in some beaten up feat.
So the Yo Sox team is asking you to kick off your awesome socks this week and give your feet some serious tender love and care.
- Eliminate all aches and pains in your feet by treating yourself to a massage. Massages help get the blood circulating properly, which will ease your tired aching feet.
- Now that the holidays are over and your taking a break from partying, then give your feet a rest too. Every night before bed, rub some soothing lotion onto the soles of your feet and put on a pair of awesome socks. The moisture and soft fabric will help rejuvenate the skin.
- Tight shoes can cut off the circulation in your feet and cause your feet to swell. Run a bath with ankle deep warm water and add some epsom salts, which can reduce the swelling. You can also add some peppermint or lavender essential oils for a really rejuvenating experience.
- After being on your feet all day, your feet could really use a stretch. While sitting down, with your legs extended in front of you, put your fingers around your big toe and little toe and gently pull back. Or interlace your fingers between your toes and gently spread them. You can also try placing a tennis ball under your arches and roll it across your foot for a few minutes.
