Strawberry Pineapple Mimosa Recipe

Posted on April 14 2016

It always seems like the best cocktails are only found in restaurants — especially when it comes to brunch related cocktails like sangria, Caesars, and mimosas. And since the Yo Sox team members are such big brunch fans, we thought it would be a good idea to track down and incredible brunch cocktail recipe for everyone to try.

We get it, it’s easy to think that crafting a mimosa requires nothing more than simply splashing cheap champagne into a flute of orange juice, but if you take a little extra time, add some extra quality ingredients, and embrace a creative spirit, you can very easily take this must-have brunch staple to the next level.

So in honour of the weekend and the Yo Sox team’s favourite weekly meal here’s a wickedly delicious recipe for a strawberry and pineapple mimosa.

This is the easiest, quickest, and best four-ingredient mimosa — all you need is five minutes to whip this up and you’ll be the star of your next brunch.

-1/2 Cup fresh strawberries

-1 1/2 Cups fresh orange juice
1 1/2 Cups fresh pineapple juice

-1 bottle of sparkling white wine or champagne

-Using a pitcher, mix together orange and pineapple juice.

-Pour orange-pineapple mixture into champagne flutes until half full.

-Fill glasses with white wine or champagne.

-Add fresh strawberries

-Serve immediately and enjoy!

Make sure to keep juices and bubbles chilled. If you’re serving a larger group, ice buckets will really come in handy to keep the different beverages cold.

And to ensure you’re fully in brunch mode, the Yo Sox team recommends wearing a pair of our awesome champagne socks while enjoying a strawberry and pineapple mimosa.
