With summer solstice out of the way, we can officially welcome summer with open arms. Ahhhh summer, a time for cold beers, pool-parties but most importantly really good food and cool socks, baby!
At Yo Sox™, we don’t mess around when it comes to the munch. To help you kick-start your next summer cookout, here are 5 mouth-watering recipes along with side “sock” dishes that will make any grill-master happy:
1. Hawaiian Hot Dogs with Mango Slaw
Combine 1 peeled/diced mango, 1 diced tomato, 1 seeded/diced jalapeño, 1/4th diced red onion, 2 tbsp. of lime juice, 1 tsp. of honey and pinch of salt. Grill hotdogs, serve immediately and garnish with the mango salsa and sliced avocado.

2. Grilled Lobster Tails with Sriracha Butter
2 8-oz. lobster tails
4 T. butter with olive oil
2 T. sriracha
chopped fresh chives
fresh lemon wedges
Stir butter and sriracha together. Heat grill to 475F, spread 1 tbsp. of sriracha butter on each lobster tail and place the tails on the grate meat-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, flip and then cook for another 2-3 minutes. Lobster meat should be opaque. Garnish with chives, lemon and more sriracha butter.

3. Grilled Bacon Wrapped Corn
Husk corn, wrap two pieces of bacon around each husk, season with pepper, wrap in tinfoil and twist ends. Grill on medium-high for about 20 minutes turning every 5 minutes. Viola!
