NBA legend Kobe Bryant has announced that he will be retiring at the end of this season, ending his illustrious 20 season career with the LA Lakers.
Bryant made his retirement announcement on the Player's Tribune website and said, "I'm ready to let [basketball] go."
The 37-year-old guard has suffered with injury after injury in his more recent seasons and the effects of time have definitely taken toll.
Throughout his impressive career, Bryant has led him team to five NBA championships and scored 32,683 points, ranking him in third on the NBA all time list.
