Now that summer is well underway, you’ll notice that your social media feeds are flooding with wedding pics and updates. Which can only mean it’s officially wedding season.
When it comes to planning your wedding day, there are a lot of important steps you must follow to ensure the big day runs perfectly. One of our favourite aspects is the bachelorette weekend. It brings together all of the bride’s closest friends for a weekend of relaxation and fun before the big day.
But in the chaos of planning your wedding, it’s easy to overlook some important steps when it comes to planning the girl’s weekend away. So in order to make sure you have a memorable bachelorette weekend, make sure to pay attention to the following details…
When it comes to choosing where you want to have your bachelorette weekend the most important thing to remember is that you should pick a destination that all of your guests can afford. There’s nothing worse than choosing a destination that only some of your friends can afford and some of your closest friends are stuck sweating to make ends meet all weekend.
To ensure that your bridal squad is ready for every photo op that comes their way over the weekend, it’s important to choose a colour scheme for clothes. This way everyone will coordinate, which you’ll definitely appreciate! The easiest scheme to work with is light, neutral, pinks and coral colours. If you decide to decorate at all over the weekend you can even coordinate your decorations to the colour scheme to pull everything together.
Wherever you decide to spend the weekend, you have to ensure that you plan some activities for everyone to enjoy. If you’re in Vegas, maybe that means organizing a show or if you go to Whistler everyone goes bungee jumping. When it comes time to booking, do some research and make sure there’re things to do other than drinking. This will make the trip even more worth it, especially if you’re travelling far!
No bachelorette weekend is complete without a squad uniform! This is a fun addition that lets the bride coordinate with all of her besties. Many brides like wearing matching t-shirts or sweaters. But we figured no weekend away is complete without an awesome pair of socks. You can go with a pair of crew or knee-high socks that show off the bride’s personality and all of the guests can wear them while they’re getting ready for the big night out. Not to mention a group of girls wearing matching socks makes for a perfect Instagram photo! You can find tons of awesome sock designs both in store or in our online shop that will make for the perfect addition to your bachelorette weekend.
